Synopsis: Each layer of this cake provides a different texture including a delicately soft jelly coating, unctuous cream, rich almond chocolate sponge cake and crispy/crunchy base. Specifically;

  • Red Fruits Crème Brûlée Gateau: crispy crêpes hazelnut milk chocolate praliné, slow-baked Crème Brûlée whipped with blended bean to bar chocolate cream, cold set Red fruits (mix of strawberry, raspberry, cherry) Crème Brûlée cream, chocolate almond paste Sacher sponge cake, chocolate gelée and elegantly finished with chocolate macarons and red-and-gold hand-painted chocolate decor. 

Suggested Pairing: Hot Chocolate, chocolate tea, coffee or a sweet fortified wine such as Portuguese LBV Port, California Black Muscat and/or Australia Liqueur Tokay.

Servings: 1050g / 6-9 servings depending on portion size [Suggested serving = 130g / person].

Serving/Storage: This dessert must be stored in the fridge at all times and consumed within 48 hours of purchase. Remove from the fridge about 1 hour before serving to allow cake to reach the perfect serving condition (temperature, texture and aroma)
