Hot Chocolate Mix: Our distinct version of Hot Chocolate is made from our own blend of crushed cocoa bean-to-bar chocolate of different origins. It contains only pure dark 70% chocolate that is ground into small granules for quick and easy emulsion and is perfect for rich, thick, pudding-like French or Spanish-style Hot Chocolate. For that type of texture, use a ratio of 50g of chocolate mix with 250 ml of hot (65° to 80°C) but never boiling cream to retain as much of the volatile aroma. For a lighter and more fluid drink, you can use whole milk or fruit purees or for the most 'pure' chocolate experience, we suggest using water as the liquid in the ratio of 25g of chocolate mix with 250 ml of hot (65° to 80°C) and again not boiling liquid to retain as much of the volatile aroma. For any of the versions suggested, we recommend using an immersion blender or a 'Bullet' type mixer to get the best emulsion / dispersion possible.

Net weight: 150g / 5.3oz in pre-portioned bags at 50g each.

Yield: 16 Demitasse servings (55ml / 2oz size) based on the thick pudding-like recipe or 4 larger cup servings (190 ml / 7oz size) based on the thick pudding-like recipe. Based on the lighter recipe, yields will be double: 32 Demitasse or 8 larger cups servings per bag.

Serving/Storage: Hot Chocolate mix should be stored at 16°C/60°F or less, away from heat and/or sunlight inside the sealed foil . Best consumed within 12-months from date of purchase / receiving shipment.
